ENC or 'Electronic Navigation Chart' offer powerful onscreen navigation via an Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) and meet the official S-57 international standard.
RNC or 'Raster Navigation Charts ' are simple electronic versions of paper charts, popular on pleasure craft. Mariners using raster charts are required under the Canada Shipping Act to also carry paper charts as a backup.

As of 2017 all Canadian raster and vector charts are only available as a download. This will require the customer to create an account on the CHS website and get a "GCKey" GCKEY Link . Once you have an account you can then use the voucher number provided by Berry Hill to download your charts.
